Hannah
Hannah has reached an age where she wishes that the real world still came to her via metaphors instead of bills.
She started reading Animorphs because she was an obsessive National Geographic nerd when she was 9 years old and the idea of kids who could turn into animals was unspeakably cool. When she saw the cover with a dolphin on it, she was done for.
Hannah's favorite Animorph is Rachel, to a point where Rachel has functioned as a life long spiritual guide. Hannah has worried about this fact at length once a week since re-reading the books as an adult.
She likes Malbec, people who chew with their mouths shut, and grapefruit.
Kelly
Kelly is a perfectly normal human female.
She doesn't remember why she started reading Animorphs. What she does remember is that her friends would frequent scold her at lunch for ignoring them, since she refused to put the books down once she started. And that Scholastic book fairs were some of the most anticipated days of school. Who could resist that dolphin on the cover of book 4?
Kelly's favorite Animorph is Marco, because she admires his ability to weaponize his personal failings, and to turn his personality flaws and fears into strengths and resources. Also -- he is funny.
She likes red blends, trivia games, the mountains, and ignoring her responsibilities in favor of naps.
